Ward Halloween Party

Our annual trunk-or-treat was a lot of fun! Bishop Seguine decided to play off his cool new car and became Batman for the night. He took the top off the Corvette and blasted the Batman theme while the kids came by to get candy. The little boys thought it was AWESOME!

Cami was a BYU Lacrosse fan in honor of her sister and joined a bigger (and very cute) group of BYU fans! I spent the day rounding up Ed's costume and candy, so I just attended as the boring mom who makes everyone else fun :) It seems to be the theme of most of my Halloween costumes! Our Hilarious Primary Presidency was dressed as three common phrases heard in Primary each week..."Oh Dear", "Holy Cow", and "Holy Guacamole". Too funny!!

Terror Behind The Walls

Cami has never liked haunted houses. Never. So I was impressed when she agreed to go to the scariest haunted house in Pennsylvania! Of course, it meant I had to go with her, but I didn't mind at all. We had a blast watching everyone be scared out of their minds and laughed more than we screamed. Thanks to Holly for organizing this terrifying event!!

Lacrosse Camps

The BYU lacrosse players take turns helping out at local camps. Taylor loves to work with the high school players and had a great time with this group.

Taylor on TV

Taylor and some friends slept in line for a couple days so that they could be in the first few rows of the end zone during a BYU game. We watched very carefully to try and spot her...and we did! Unfortunately, she was yelling during her TV debut and this was her only shot, but it was fun to see her.

Halloween Party

Our family Halloween Party was super fun! We love the new farm and love that our friends share this tradition with us. It really hit us this year that we only have a few more parties until Cami leaves home and this tradition will have to either change or end. I think it made us appreciate it all the more - I love the memories we have made over nearly 15 years. We are grateful for our wonderful friends and for bonfires in the crisp Autumn air!

New Pictures in TV room

Here are the new pictures on the wall in the TV room. I am so happy with how bright and happy this room feels now. Its amazing what a little paint, a few pillows, and pictures of people you love will do for a room!

Living Room

I've been painting the whole house, but this room is staying the same color. There are two reasons for this; First, I actually like this color and it goes beautifully with the new blue in the kitchen/TV room and the gray in the hallway/entry. Second, this room has crazy high ceilings and I am not ready to rent scaffolding or pay someone to come and paint for me.

We found a great sectional at a local furniture store and Home Goods provided the bench, chair, and pillows to almost complete the rest. We just can't stand the thought of throwing away our favorite brown chair with holes forming in arms, but getting it recovered will have to wait a little while.

We all love this room so much more now and are spending a lot more time together on our cool new couch. The accent pillows and blue in the couch pull the rest of the house together and make the color scheme flow.

(I was so excited to take pictures...I hadn't even taken some of the tags off! Hahaha)

Ben Is Home!!

Cousin Benjamin returned from his mission in Uruguay! We are so happy he is home safe and sound. I love this picture of him with his tiny Grammy.

Dinner with more friends!

We went to Salt Lake before Priesthood session of conference and had dinner with more friends. Liz, Ian, Bethany, Hannah, Lynn, Hayley, Sienna, Jenna...

It was a fun time to catch up and say goodbye to Hannah as she prepares to leave on her mission.

Cousins

We love spending time with our cousins. I never really got to know any of my cousins growing up and I have always wanted that for my kids. They are so lucky to have such wonderful friends that they also call family!

Trip To Utah

We had another great trip to Utah. We loved seeing Taylor and the beautiful mountains, spending time with good friends, and watching conference. The scenery never gets old :)

Doylestown Dinner

We continued our tradition of taking the Doylestown kids out to lunch. All-you-can-eat pizza is the perfect solution for college kids!

New Paint

I decided to paint the TV room. I am slowly painting the whole house trying to get rid of my Autumn phase of 10 years ago. Its a big project. I just changed the wall color and added new pillows. I have ordered some new pictures for the walls, but they will arrive later. The whole room is just so much brighter and we love it.  I'll post another picture after I get everything on the walls.
