First Day of School

Here's our Freshman! 

Goodbye to Dad

For some reason the last goodbye is always the hardest. After getting her settled, Ed was ready to fly back home. Taylor was a little more emotional having him leave because it meant it was all really real. I love that she loves her dad. I love that he has this tradition of driving them out and getting them settled. I also love that he is going back in two weeks for a BYU game and can check on her again ;)

Sea Girt

Cami and I decided to squeeze one more beach day into Summer. We went to Sea Girt on the Jersey Shore with some of our neighbors. It was such a nice, relaxing day and we really enjoyed our last hoorah. Farewell Summer!

School Shopping

It doesn't matter how old you get, you still have to sort and organize all your school supplies in the middle of the living room floor before school starts!

Freshman Orientation BYU

Taylor and Ed arrived in Utah and got her all settled in her dorm and with her new roommates. Go Cougars!!

Slip-n-Slide Party

Cami went to an end-of-summer party with the kids from Church. They played kick ball... slip-n-slide style. It was really funny to watch.

Taylor Leaves For BYU

I knew it was coming. It still took me by surprise. I can't believe she actually left for college. Man, I'm going to miss her like crazy, but she is so incredibly happy it is hard to be sad. Here's to a new chapter in life!

Indianapolis Temple

The Indianapolis Temple was finally dedicated. It was fun to hear all the stories of my family participating in different aspects as the dedication approached. I can't wait to go back to Indiana and finally get to see it! Here is my sister's family in front of the temple.

Hayley Comes Home

We were so happy to welcome Hayley home from her mission in Salem, Oregon. She blessed the lives of many people through her service and was/is a wonderful example. Welcome home HayHay. We love you!

OBX - Family and Group Pictures

I finally got on the ball and took lots of pictures on our last night. Thankfully Amanda was able to capture some really good ones of our family too. It's hard for me to enjoy family pictures without Dallin, but I guess I have to remember that our family is going to be changing a lot over the next few years. I am just going to take what I can get and enjoy it.

OBX - Beach Days

To be honest, I was so tired on this trip that I hardly took any pictures during our beach days. I just parked myself in a chair and slept or chatted. It was great. The beach relaxes me like no other place.
