Christmas Concert

Taylor had her Christmas Strings and Chorus Concert at Bridge Valley. She did a great job and it really got us into the Christmas Spirit.

Bacon and Eggs

Every child seems to have a special "thing" with a grandparent. For Dallin (and Taylor - but especially Dallin) it is bacon and eggs with Gram.

When Dallin was 2 years old, I started working full-time and Ed went to graduate school to get an MBA. Dallin and Taylor went to Gram's house almost everyday. I would scoop them up out of bed and buckle them into their car seats with a sippy cup of hot cocoa and take them to her house. We would carry them in and snuggle them under blankets on the couch while Gram made bacon and eggs for breakfast. Yes... EVERY DAY!

Although I spent many mornings tearful as I left, they have such fond memories of those mornings. When Taylor was a little older and I wasn't working as much, she asked me, "tomorrow can you give me a blanket and a cup of hot cocoa and take me to Gram's? I would love to have breakfast with her."

So, whenever my mom comes to visit, we make sure to have lots of bacon and eggs on hand and they eat it EVERY morning she's here. It makes Dallin feel so loved - he looks like he could pop!

Just another reason to say THANKS GRAM!

Decorated Tree

I said I would post pictures of the tree once it was decorated - Here they are!

Dallin had the honor of placing the Christmas Pretzel Ed made in Preschool. It always goes on the top just under the star. (It's a long story :)

This year it was Taylor's turn to place the star. Perfect!

It turned out beautifully - well done family!

Ready for Church

Didn't they look so nice for church today? It's not very often I get to dress the girls alike.
I still love it.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

We're a little slow getting started, but we're getting there.

Grammy and the girls were spotted baking a Christmas Cake.

We got our tree yesterday (It's not decorated yet - we'll post a picture after family night :)

Taylor took this picture of Dallin attempting to catch the tree as it fell ;)

There was actually snow on the ground when we woke up this morning!
